Our four public hearings will allow the entire community to hear a sampling of the statements that will go into the Commission's ultimate report. It will also allow statement-givers to publicly tell their stories, in many cases for the first time. It will provide a window into the perspectives, memories and feelings of individuals whose lives were impacted by the 1979 shootings.

Individuals interested in speaking at a public hearing must first make a statement to the Commission and indicate an interest in making that statement publicly. Not all statement-givers will be able to speak at a hearing.
